Writing is a rather solitary pursuit, but thanks to technology it doesn't have to be lonely. My friends and I have started a group message on Facebook in which we distract each other from work all day. It's great fun, and it helps keep me sane while I'm home alone writing about imaginary people and imaginary monsters and their imaginary problems in an imaginary world.
All of us had tickets to go see The Force Awakens together on Sunday. Two days before, the day the movie came out (we couldn't get tickets for that day, SAD FACE), we had a white elephant party. Excited by our weekend, we were having difficulty getting anything done at work. so we started bombarding each other with pictures of our coffee/tea mugs. I think they tell a fun little story about our personalities and work environments.
"Yes, boss, I swear we're working really hard today!"
